Geotrace CFO Named Finalist for Best CFOs Award

Jesse Perez, chief financial officer of Geotrace, has been named a finalist in the Best CFOs of the Year Award competition. Geotrace is a leading reservoir services company that provides subsurface imaging solutions to the oil and gas industry worldwide.

The second annual Best CFOs of the Year Award competition recognizes Houston-area financial professionals for outstanding performance in their roles as corporate financial stewards.

Perez joined Geotrace in 2004 as its CFO with more than 22 years of experience in the geophysical industry. Prior to Geotrace, he was Vice President / Controller of Flow Products Inc., a division of Precision Castparts Corporation. From 2001 to 2002, he was CFO of NuTech Energy Services, Inc. He served as CFO of Reservoir Technologies Inc. from 1999-2001. Between 1980-1999, Perez held a variety of financial positions with Western Geophysical Company in Houston and Singapore, including Senior Vice President, Finance and Administration, and Vice President/Controller. He earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in accounting from the University of Houston at Clear Lake and is a CPA in Texas.
