Roc Oil Moves Forward to Commission Well at Blane Field

Roc Oil (GB) Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of ROC, advises that as at 0600 hours (local time) on 25 April 2008, the "Ocean Princess" rig had moved off location following successfully completing injectivity tests on the 30/3a-3z well.

The forward programme is to finalise the connection of the 30/3a-3z well at Blane oil field in the North Sea to the Ula Platform and commission the well by the end of May 2008.

Unitised Interests in the Blane Oil Field are Roc Oil (GB) Limited (12.5%); Talisman Energy (UK) Limited, the operator, (25%); Talisman Energy Norge AS (18%); MOC Exploration (UK) Limited, a subsidiary of Nippon Oil Corporation, (14%); Eni UK Limited (13.9%); Eni ULX Limited (4.1%); and Bow Valley Petroleum (UK) Limited (12.5%).
