ExxonMobil to Restart Seligi A Platform This Weekend

ExxonMobil believes it will have the Seligi A Platform back online by this weekend. Oil production was shut in late last week due to a pipeline leak. The platform production 57,000 barrels per day of Tapis crude. "Actions are actively underway to repair the affected pipeline close to the Seligi A platform. We are still working towards resuming production this weekend," an ExxonMobil spokeswoman said.

The Seligi A Platform is located approximately 156 miles offshore northeastern Terengtganu state, Malaysia.
