Workfox Expands Fleet with Seafox 7
Workfox, the leading manager for accommodation and multi-support jackup rigs for the oil & gas industry, has been awarded an exclusive management agreement with Seafox Contractors B.V. for the new build jackup rig, Seafox 7.
The Seafox 7 has recently been acquired and will commence operations in the Southern North Sea in June 2008 for a period of minimal 100-120 days before it becomes available for the oil & gas industry or other markets (e.g. offshore windfarm market).
The Seafox 7, built at Labroy Shipyard, is the first new build jackup rig to enter the Southern North Sea area and has standard accommodation for 80 POB with an offshore pedestal crane of 300t and can work up to 40-45m in the SNS sector. The operational workscope of the SF7 ranges from well services activities, maintenance and installation/construction works to platform decommissioning activities.
