EnCana Spuds Squirrel Well in UK North Sea

Roc Oil reports that Transocean's semisub, Sedco 719, has spud the 20/7a-D exploration well on the Squirel prospect in the U.K. Sector of the North Sea. The well is approximately 17 kilometers east of the Buzzard Field and in approximately 114 meters of water. The well is expected to take approximately one month to drill and will be drilled to 2,810 meters total depth.MP>The 207a Joint Venture partners are EnCana as operator with 19.816%; Enterprise Oil with 24.804%; OMV with 22.3905; Roc Oil with 12.402%; Bow Valley with 12.4025 and Kerr-McGee with the remaining 8.186%.
