Production from Abo Field Pushed Back
Eni reports that production of first oil from the Abo Field has been pushed back to March. The field was originally scheduled to come online in February, however, delays were caused by the late arrival of the FPSO from Singapore.
The Abo Field is located in OPL 316 offshore Nigeria in approximately 1,800 feet of water. The field holds over 700 million barrels of oil. Initial production will begin at 10,000 bpd and is expected to peak at 30,000 bpd in approximately six months.
