New Vice-President at Aker Kvaerner Offshore Partner
One of the Aberdeen-based businesses of global construction and engineering group Aker Kvaerner has appointed a new Vice-President responsible for the delivery of projects and modifications.
Mike Forbes, previously city-based Decommissioning Manager with Aker Kvaerner Offshore Partner, has succeeded Tore Nygaard in the role. Tore has taken up a new post with the group in Norway.
Offshore Partner Managing Director Rod Buchan said: "Mike comes from a structural engineering background and brings a wealth of experience to this role in delivering key offshore services. He has worked on a succession of major modification contracts as well as on a number of significant decommissioning projects.
"Mike has a key role to play in a business structure designed to continue delivering quality services to clients and building on our successful growth strategy of recent years."
Mike Forbes said, "I've a passion for excellent service delivery and my priority is to continue to build our client relationships and ensure that we deliver safely, effectively and beyond their expectations."
Aker Kvaerner Offshore Partner has around 1,500 employees and is headquartered in Aberdeen, with a regional office in Great Yarmouth.
