Koch Petroleum Canada To Sell Oil & Gas Properties

Koch Petroleum Canada has released its 2003 Petroleum and Natural Gas Property Offering, which consists of four gas and oil property packages. The net production associated with these packages is 6.8 million cubic feet of gas per day and 7 million barrels of oil per day.

The properties being offered include a West Central Alberta and North Eastern British Columbia package, a Cold Lake Alberta package, a Liege & Saleski Alberta package, and a Southern Alberta Non-Operated & GORR package. Bids for the properties in this offering are due mid-March.

"This offering will provide new start-ups and established core operators with an opportunity to acquire quality, proved producing assets with upside potential on both operated and non-operated lands," said Dale Schlinsog, president of Koch Petroleum Canada.

These properties can be characterized by long life reserves, several new-pool Falher and Bluesky gas discoveries, additional drilling locations, behind-pipe pay opportunities and low-cost optimizations on producing zones, said Schlinsog.
