Wet Well Abandoned by Brownstone in Brazil
As part of the obligation to earn its 15% interest in the previously announced farm-in on blocks REC-T-204, REC-T-219, REC-T-234 and REC-T-235 in the Reconcavo Basin onshore in Brazil, Brownstone Ventures participated in the drilling of a exploration well 235-01 in Block REC-T-235, and funded 25% of the costs associated with the drilling. The well was drilled to a depth of 1383 meters. The Agua Grande was encountered with a total of 8 meters of sand with weighted average porosity of 20%. The Sergi was encountered with 20 metres of sand with weighted average porosity of 18%. Based on log analysis the well was determined to be wet and therefore the well was abandoned.
