Seadrill to Appeal Court's Decision in Annulment Action Against Oslo Bors
Oslo Bors has received notice of appeal from Seadrill Limited against the judgement of the Oslo District Court in the annulment action that Seadrill brought against Oslo Bors.
The Oslo District Court did not uphold Seadrill's claim that the Stock Exchange Appeals Committee's decision of 12 December 2006 in respect of a mandatory duty to make an offer for all the shares in Eastern Drilling ASA on the basis of consolidation of shareholdings was invalid. Seadrill has today notified Oslo Bors that it has lodged an appeal against the District Court's judgement in this case.
