Iraqi oil officials said recently they hoped to call the first open tenders to develop the country's vast oil fields at the beginning of 2008. They said the oil ministry was preparing contracts models for the first group of oil fields.
Jihad said the required documentation should be submitted to the Petroleum Licenses and Contracts Office, an affiliate of the oil ministry, no more than the end of the working hours Jan. 31.Jan 2, 2008 (Dow Jones Newswires)
