MCS Named 2007 Innovation Exporter of the Year
International subsea engineering firm MCS has been named 2007 Innovation Exporter of the Year in a prestigious awards ceremony.
MCS, which currently employs almost 200 people across offices in Galway, Aberdeen, Houston, Rio, Perth and Paris, received the accolade during the annual Irish Exporters Association Awards ceremony at University College Dublin.
The award recognizes companies that make significant contributions to the exporting sector resulting in a new technology, product or service being introduced. MCS was named the winner for its design and delivery of engineering and software solutions to the subsea industry.
The company, which ensures that research and innovation are central to its corporate growth strategy, received a further two nominations for the Emerging Markets Exporter of the Year award and the Software and International Services Export Award.
