Zakharchenko Resigns, Surgutneftegas Names Erokhin Acting Chairman
On December 19, 2007, OJSC Surgutneftegas held the Board meeting to consider the reelection of Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Nikolay P. Zakharchenko, Chairman of the Board of Directors, announced his voluntary resignation due to his poor health on December 07, 2007.
The Board of Directors accepted the resignation of Mr. Zakharchenko, and appointed Vladimir P. Erokhin to act as Chairman until the Company holds the shareholder’s meeting.
