StatoilHydro Maintains Normal Production at Grane and Heimdal
Oil and gas production from Grane and Heimdal will be maintained during the night of November 8th.
StatoilHydro has continuously evaluated the consequences of the new report on acceleration forces (G-forces) related to the use of lifeboats.
Calculations show that there is sufficient lifeboat capacity to maintain normal production from Heimdal. Likewise, new measures on Grane allow production to be maintained also on this field.
Other measures will be implemented as planned in connection with the storm warning.
Total oil and gas production from the fields that will be temporarily shut down is around 110,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day.
