Gerald W. Schlief to Retire from ATP
ATP Oil & Gas says that Mr. Gerald ("Jerry") W. Schlief will retire from ATP on December 31, 2007.
"Jerry has made a substantial impact to ATP as he led skillful and creative negotiations to acquire development properties and close financial transactions," stated ATP Chairman and President T. Paul Bulmahn. "His efforts helped move this company forward from a small private company to an international public company with multi-billion dollar assets. We are pleased that Jerry has agreed to continue to serve ATP on a consulting basis into the future."
Gerald W. Schlief has served as ATP's Senior Vice President since 1993 and is primarily responsible for acquisitions. Previously Mr. Schlief acted as a consultant for the onshore and offshore independent oil and gas industry. Mr. Schlief served as Vice President, Offshore Land for Plumb Oil Company, and its successor Harbert Energy Corporation, where he managed the acquisition of interests in over 35 offshore properties. Mr. Schlief also served as Offshore Land Consultant for Huffco Petroleum Corporation and as Treasurer and Landman for Huthnance Energy Corporation. In addition, Mr. Schlief conducted audits of oil and gas companies for Arthur Andersen & Co., and for Spicer & Oppenheim.
