Maxwell Drummond Appoints New Chairman

Maxwell Drummond International has appointed John Kennedy to the newly created position of chairman.

A prominent figure in the oil and gas industry, Kennedy is former chairman of Vetco International Limited. Kennedy was part of the management team who approached Halliburton with a proposal to lead a buyout of Wellstream. He went on to become chairman of Wellstream in 2003, a position he still holds today. Prior to this, Kennedy was executive vice-president of Halliburton and COO of Brown & Root Energy Services. He is currently a director of the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA), a post he has held since 2005.,P. Planned growth at Maxwell Drummond, which provides executive search and consultancy services for the oil and gas industries, has seen turnover increase annually by over 40% for each of the last three years. With a head office in London and long established operations in Aberdeen, Calgary and Houston, the firm plans to continue its international growth. Kennedy will assist Maxwell Drummond with the continued development of its business in the energy sector.
