Artumas Strengthens Executive Team

Artumas has appointed Mr. Duncan Nightingale as Senior Vice President Exploration, effective 12 November 2007.

Mr. Nightingale will be a key addition to the Artumas Group executive team, enhancing the strategic leadership required to facilitate the growth of AGI through the Company's ongoing exploration activities in the Rovuma Delta Basin in Tanzania and Mozambique and to ensure the effective development of our current assets in Tanzania.

Duncan Nightingale has over 26 years of international experience with major international companies. His most recent role has been with Dana Gas PJSC as General Manager, Exploration and Production based in the United Arab Emirates. From 1994 to 2002, he held senior level geoscience positions, including an in-country role as President & General Manager of Nexen Exploration and Production Ltd., Lagos, Nigeria. Prior to this, Duncan worked with EnCana Ltd. as General Manager, EnCana International, Oman, Qatar and Bahrain Ltd. Born in the United Kingdom, Duncan holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Geology and Geophysics from the University of Nottingham.

Mr. Nightingale's experience includes all aspects of managing exploration programs, development production operations, new business ventures, portfolio management and strategic planning. Regions worked include the Middle East, Far East, Latin America, C.I.S. North Sea, Eastern Europe, Australasia as well as North and West Africa.

To the role as Senior Vice President Exploration Mr. Nightingale brings a proven track record and international depth in successful exploration program execution, production operations, project management and capturing new reserve additions, as well as building and leading highly efficient and successful multidisciplinary technical teams. He is culturally fluent in presenting to and negotiating with, foreign governments, national oil companies and related stakeholders.
