Chevron Opens New European Headquarters
Chevron North Sea Limited has officially opened its new Upstream Europe headquarters by The First Minister of Scotland, The Right Honorable Alex Salmond MSP, at a special reception in the building.
Chevron House is a 110,000-square-foot, three-story building - the culmination of a program which has lasted approximately 60 weeks and houses 450 staff and contractors.
"Our aim has been for an exciting work environment, which is collaborative and conducive to world-class performance, and I believe the new building will fulfill that objective," said Chevron North Sea Limited Managing Director, Rick Cohagan.
The First Minister of Scotland, The Right Honorable Alex Salmond MSP added, "I congratulate Chevron on the completion of these exciting new headquarters. This new building is a real show of confidence in what the North East has to offer and is evidence that the North Sea remains one of the world's most valuable basins."
The technology center provides research, development and technical support to Chevron's upstream, downstream, global gas and emerging energy businesses around the world and approximately 100 technology professionals will be employed in Aberdeen.
