Shell Extends Deadline for BMC 31
Indigo Pool reports that Shell Brasil Ltda. (Shell) is extending the data room and offer deadline for their Campos Basin BMC 31 farm-out opportunity. A number of companies have requested more time because of resource constraints, particularly with the upcoming ANP Round 9.
Despite the extension, Shell encourages and will consider competitive offers before the deadline, and the opportunity is subject to prior sale.
Shell is seeking a partner to join them in drilling a major Campos Basin exploration prospect offshore deepwater Brazil. The BMC 31 concession is located in an established productive oil fairway - two of the largest oil fields in Brazil, Roncador and Albacora, are in adjacent blocks.
