Anzon Australia Welcomes Investment by Nexus Energy
AZA is running a process that may lead to an offer or proposal being put to AZA shareholders, and it is being progressed with the full support of its major shareholders, AEL. A number of parties submitted confidential non-binding indicative proposals, including Nexus, from which a short list of parties was selected. The indicative proposals received from Nexus were considered, on balance, to be less attractive than those made by the short listed parties.
The Board of AZA is and will continue to act in the best interests of all shareholders, including considering all proposals, or revisions of proposals, on their merits in order to determine if they are attractive to shareholders.
The board of AEL continues to assist AZA in the evaluation of approaches to AZA in order to maximize the returns to all shareholders.
