Tanganyika Denies Talks of Syrian Asset Sale

Tanganyika Oil Company saw the trading of its shares on the OMX Nordic Exchange temporarily suspended after an article published in the Swedish daily business newspaper Dagens Industri.
Tanganyika is not in discussions to sell Company's assets in Syria, as described in the Dagens Industri article. As previously disclosed, the Company has entered into an agreement to sell the West Gharib assets in Egypt and the funds will be used for the active investment programs in Syria.
Tanganyika Oil Company Ltd. is a Canadian oil and gas company with production and exploration assets in Egypt and Syria. Its shares are traded on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol TYK and its Swedish Depository Receipts trade on the OMX Nordic Exchange under the symbol "TYKS".
