Valve Industry Veteran, Stan Allen, Joins Hemiwedge Valve Corporation Team

Shumate Industries announced the appointment of Stan Allen as Senior Vice-President of Technology and Business Development at Hemiwedge Valve Corporation.

Mr. Allen has 30 years experience in various engineering, technical marketing and management positions in the valve industry, mostly with Orbit® Valve Company, a division within Cameron International and Cameron Valves and Measurements. His extensive experience in product development, applications engineering, and project management will be a key part in Shumate Industries' development and launch of the Hemiwedge® valve technology. His key contributions to Orbit® and Cameron have been the expansion of the Orbit® product line and development of new markets and applications. Mr. Allen has also participated in the development of valve standards through involvement in both API and NACE standards committees, and is regarded as one of the industry's leading technologists in valve automation. Mr. Allen, a registered professional engineer in Arkansas, holds a BS degree in Physics and Math from Ouachita Baptist University and an MS in Engineering from the University of Arkansas.

The Company believes that its unique Hemiwedge® Valve design is advanced technology that offers better performance and lower maintenance costs in a wide range of applications. Mr. Allen's expertise will be utilized to guide the market deployment of the Hemiwedge® Valve while targeting other unique high margin opportunities for the Hemiwedge® technology in other related markets.
