Forster Drilling Appoints Chief Operating Officer
Fred Forster, III, Chairman, Forster Drilling Corporation, commented: "We are delighted that Garrick has agreed to join Forster at such a dynamic time in the Company's development. Garrick Clayton's experience and expertise in the drilling operations arena strengthens our management team. He has over 16 years of diverse experience in the industry with various technical and management positions held in engineering, business development and operations. Having demonstrated a solid understanding of the financial and operational challenges inherent with the contract drilling business, his involvement will be instrumental to Forster as we continue to further build our presence. Stationed in our Midland/Odessa office, Garrick Clayton will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Forster Drilling, Inc.
Garrick Clayton's industry experience encompasses positions from Service Operator for Halliburton Energy Services, Driller with UTI Drilling, Mud Engineer with Buckeye Mud, Inc., Division Controller of Drilling in Domestic Operations with Key Energy Drilling, and Field Service Cost Analyst with Compressor-Systems, Inc.
Garrick Clayton earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas of the Permian, Odessa, Texas.
Forster Drilling Corporation is engaged in three related business activities:
- Forster Drilling, Inc. - Providing contract land drilling services to oil and gas exploration and production companies (E&P).
- Forster Tool and Supply, Inc. - Fabricates new drilling rig components and assembles them with refurbished components into "like-new", state-of-the-art drilling rigs. Certain components manufactured by the Company are branded as "ForceStar" for which a registered trademark application has been filed.
- Forster Exploration and Production, Inc. - Joint-venture participation with our drilling service customers in the exploration, development, and production of oil and gas reserves.
