Trico Marine Boosts Management Team with New Appointments
Trico Marine Services has appointed Mike Danford as Vice President of Human Resources and Jim Katosic as Chief Accounting Officer.
Mike Danford has been involved with human resources in various capacities over the last twenty years. Most recently, he spent ten years at Hydril Company LP as their Director of Human Resources and eventually as their VP of Human Resources. Mike has experience leading a global human resources department responsible for benefits, compensation, employee relations, organizational development, succession planning and more. As Trico's VP of Human Resources, Mike will be responsible for all of Trico's human resource initiatives including the development and implementation of global HR strategies.
Jim Katosic has over 25 years of financial experience both internationally and domestically, and has served in two of the leading energy service firms, Baker Hughes and Hydril. Most recently as the Corporate Controller of Hydril, he led the successful implementation and maintenance of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and restructured the accounting department to become more customer focused. He also utilized outsourcing to eliminate non-value added activities and improve accounting system integrity. As Trico's Chief Accounting Officer, Jim will be responsible for implementation of all of Trico's accounting policies and procedures and will oversee the accounting department on a global basis.
