Western Pipeline Begins Fort Worth Basin Drilling Program

Western Pipeline Corporation has begun its 2006-2 drilling program in the Bend Arch – Fort Worth Basin in Texas. The company plans to drill 10 wells and re-enter 20 wells on an area covering approximately 4,551 acres. Counties include Tom Green, Concho, Coleman, Runnels, Jones, and Young Counties.

According to Bob Jent, Western Pipeline's CEO, "We are very excited about our future in West Texas. There are over 2,022,431 barrels of oil and over 7 billion cubic feet of natural gas of proven undeveloped behind pipe reserves. Producing reservoirs are the Young Reg, Akard, Overall, Jennings, Palo Pinto, Coleman Reg, Canyon, Goen, and Strawn".

Western Pipeline Corporation (WPC) is a successful, private independent producer of oil and natural gas. The company specializes in identifying, acquiring and developing existing, producing reserves on behalf of its individual clients. Since its incorporation in June of 2000, WPC has been involved in oil and gas exploration in five states including six multi-well projects in the Illinois Basin.
