Bibby Places Second Order with Nautronix

Nautronix has secured their second order this year from Bibby Offshore for a diver communications system. The contract worth over £90,000 continues the high level of success Nautronix has experienced with their Dive communications systems this year.

The supply of a DSP system (350X) for communications in dive control on the Dive Support Vessel Bibby Sapphire is the same as that purchased for the newbuild Bibby Topaz vessel earlier this year.

Commercial Sales Manager, Andy McAra commented 'this recent contract to install a new communication system on the Sapphire truly shows the backing we have from Bibby. We are delighted they recognize our systems as the market leader; providing the technology and equipment they require for their new and existing vessels".

As a twin bell vessel the Bibby Sapphire will be fitted with two interfaced systems providing a complete communication network, allowing links to other deck and bridge personnel.

Nautronix (Helle) diver communication systems are core products for the company and have had a presence in the market for over twenty five years, originally under the Helle brand, providing communication solutions for a wide range of commercial diving requirements to suit both air and mixed gas diving. The DSP Unscramblers are designed and built to meet the stringent NORSOK Standards for Manned Underwater Operations.

The Nautronix Helle DSP is the system of choice with a global market share of over 90% of all operational deep water systems.
