Pertamina Cooperates with East Java to Strengthen Upstream O&G Activities
Pertamina and the East Java Government have signed a mutual agreement on Partnership and Environment Assistance Program (PEAP) and the development of the oil and gas businesses in East Java province, according to Pertamina press release in Jakarta.
The cooperation in business development includes efforts to strengthen the upstream oil and gas activities in East Java.
The parties will develop small enterprises particularly in services, production, and trade through partnership program part of the CSR and PEAP. They will also develop human and natural resources through the community assistance program.
The program is expected to help boost cooperatives as the pioneer in businesses in villages and economic growth, as well as creating business opportunities and new jobs.
The agreement, which will be valid for five years, will be executed by abiding to mutual benefit principles as well as good intention and equal treatment between both parties.
