GFI Oil & Gas Names New CFO
GFI Oil and Gas Corp. has appointed Gerald F. Clark its Chief Financial Officer of GFI.
Mr. Clark has over 30 years of experience in energy-related finance. From August 2004 to June 2007, Mr. Clark was the CFO of Output Exploration, LLC, a private oil and gas exploration and production company based in the United States of America that was recently sold to TXCO Resources.
From June 2000 to March 2004, Mr. Clark served as the Managing Director, Corporate Planning for Reliant Resources, Inc. a public merchant energy company, where he was responsible for corporate strategic and financial planning.
Prior to working with Reliant, Mr. Clark served 3 years with Shell Oil Company, as CFO of business units and as Assistant Treasurer in their oil and gas subsidiary. Gerald Clark also previously worked with Amoco Corporation for 21 years, holding positions of increasing responsibility, both in the United States and internationally and ultimately serving as CFO of a major business group.

Mr. Clark holds a master of business administration in finance/accounting and a bachelor's in economics/mathematics from The University of Chicago.
