Goodrich Commences Production at Sullivan East Prospect

Goodrich Petroleum Corporation has commenced production from the initial well on its Sullivan East prospect at West Delta 83 field in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana.

The Goodrich Petroleum Company, S.L. 1009 No. 1 well is currently producing approximately 3,600 Mcf of gas and 86 barrels of oil (approximately 4,100 Mcfe) per day on a 14/64 inch choke with 2550 p.s.i. from the 10500' "B" sand, the deepest of three productive sands in the well. Stabilized production results are being released on the well now due to production delays caused by Hurricanes Isidore and Lili. The Company is the operator and owns a 65% working interest in the well.

The Company's Burrwood/West Delta 83 fields' production was shut in for approximately nine days as a result of the two hurricanes.
