RBG Names Slattery Ops Chief

RBG Limited has appointed Tadg Slattery as Chief Operating Officer.

In this newly created role, Slattery reports to RBG's Chief Executive Officer Doug Sedge and has responsibility for managing the needs and deliverables of all operations activities. Reporting to Slattery are the directors of RBG's International, Marine Services, Specialist Services, Engineering Support Services, Fabrication & Inspection and Energy Resources divisions.

Slattery is a well-known personality in the oil and gas industry, having spent 30 years in a series of management roles. In 1976 Slattery came to Aberdeen to join AOC International, where he subsequently became Managing Director. Following the purchase of AOC by Brown & Root, he became Vice-President in charge of the merged organizations. He spent the last two years as KBR's Senior Vice-President in charge of their business in Algeria.
