McLaughlin to Head Rocky Mountain Ops for Knight

Paco McLaughlin has been promoted to Director of Operations for Knight Oil Tools' Rocky Mountain Region, President Mark Knight announced.

McLaughlin has been with the Knight Companies for three years, most recently as Quality Manager in Lafayette, La.

McLaughlin's new role, based in Rock Springs, WY, is to support rental operations through daily communications with store managers based in the Rocky Mountain Region—including Rock Springs, Wyoming; Riverton, Wyoming; Vernal, Utah; Williston, North Dakota and Farmington, New Mexico.

Among his professional affiliations, McLaughlin is a member of the American Association of Drilling Engineers (AADE) and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).

McLaughlin, a native of Lafayette, earned a bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Focused on providing "zero failure" equipment and service for 35 years, Knight Oil Tools has grown to include Knight Fishing Services, Well Services and Manufacturing. The company is the largest privately held rental and fishing tools business in the oil and gas industry. Knight has an extensive inventory of high-quality products necessary for safe, efficient and productive oilfield projects.
