Aker Yards to Build Supply Vessels for Nord Capital
The hulls for the vessels will be built at Aker Yards in Romania and outfitted at Aker Yards in Norway. Delivery of the vessels is scheduled for the third quarter of 2009 and first quarter of 2010.
The contract also includes an option for two similar vessels for delivery in the third and fourth quarters of 2010.
"We are very pleased to win another contract for Nordcapital. By this, we have 10 vessels in our order book for delivery to our customer in Germany" said Roy Reite, President of Offshore & Specialized Vessels in Aker Yards.
