WellPoint Wins Kudos for Growth Rate

WellPoint Systems Inc. has been named a member of the Branham Group's "Top 20 Movers and Shakers" for 2006. The Movers and Shakers list is made up of technology companies that, through remarkable performance, showed the most significant increases in their rankings compared to last year's list. The complete listing can be found in the most recent edition of Backbone Magazine.

With a year-over-year growth rate of well over 115%, WellPoint moved up 34 places on the list of the Top 250 technology companies in Canada. It should be noted that at the time of the Branham Group's survey, WellPoint's audited results for 2006 had not yet been released to the market and therefore this placement is based on Branham's internal estimate. The Company said that the FY2006 results were significantly better than Branham's original estimate.

"We are very excited about being measured and recognized by reputable industry consultants like the Branham Group," said Tom Mawhinney, President of WellPoint Systems. "With the growth objectives we have in place for the next few years, we fully expect to be members of their elite group well into the next decade."
