Pemex Launches Sonda de Campeche Rig Tender
Mexican state oil company Pemex's E&P unit Pemex Exploracion y Produccion (PEP) has launched an international tender to supply a light drill rig for the Sonda de Campeche marine region.
The Sinan-So self-elevating rig will operate in the area of the same name and drill three wells, according to bidding rules.
Bidding rules will be available through May 24 with technical and economic bids to be opened May 30.
The winner will have 210 days starting July 30 to supply the rig.
The contract is part of PEP's light crude marine project roughly 75km offshore Tabasco state.
