Pemex Opens Poza Rica-Altamira Services Tender
Mexican state oil company Pemex's E&P unit Pemex Exploracion y Produccion (PEP) has opened an international services tender for the Poza Rica-Altamira basin.
The winner of the six-year contract will provide optimization and development services for fields in the Ebano-Panuco-Cacalilao sector of the basin, according to bidding rules.
Bidding rules will be available through May 8 and offers due May 14, with work scheduled to begin in July.
The works aim to increase production and maximize the profitability and recovery of reserves. The fields in total produce 5,500b/d and have 400 wells in operation.
The base of operations will be at PEP offices in the city of Tampico, Tamaulipas state.
