AGR Names Senior Environmental Advisor
Norway-based AGR Group has appointed Marianne Giæver as Senior Environmental Advisor for the Group. Marianne's main focus will be to establish a platform for best practice and co-ordinate and consolidate the AGR Group efforts within environmental issues.
Marianne has a PhD in Marine Biology from the University for Technology and Science in Trondheim. She has broad experience and detailed knowledge related to environmental aspects, environmental management and audits of offshore drilling and production operations. She has developed tools and methods for environmental risk analysis, corporate social responsibility, and environmental impact assessments and is also used as assessor for accredited ISO 14001 certifications.
Key aspects of Marianne's role within AGR will include mapping practices, assisting line management, coaching the AGR certification processes and increasing the demonstration of AGR product advantages related to environmental performance.

"She will work closely with colleagues across the Group from the Group management team to all the operational entities in the business units."
