Knight Promotes Keller to VP of Marketing and Business Development

Doug Keller has been promoted to Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for Knight, President Mark Knight announced.

Keller was Regional Manager – Gulf Coast for the last three years and served as Business Development Manager for six years prior, and has been associated with Knight for 18 years. He has more than 35 total years of oil and gas industry experience.

Keller's new role is to facilitate the growth of all Knight Companies. Keller will work with a corporate goal of establishing target accounts in new markets, identifying possible acquisitions and researching additional product lines.

"This is a new opportunity for growth and expansion for Knight," said Mark Knight. "As primarily a domestic company for the past 35 years, we are excited with the potential the international market offers us."

Among his professional affiliations, Keller is on the Board of Directors of the American Association of Drilling Engineers (AADE) on local and national levels, serves as President of the Petroleum Club of Lafayette, is a on the board of the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce and is a past Chairman of the Louisiana Gulf Coast Oil Exposition (LAGCOE). He also is a member of the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC), the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE). Keller earned a bachelor's degree in science from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, La.
