Pemex Sets Gas Output Record of 5.74Bf3/d in January
Mexico's state oil company Pemex set a natural gas production record in January, averaging 5.74Bf3/d (162Mm3/d), up 13.3% from the same month 2006, the company said in a statement.
The increase was due to higher non-associated gas production, which rose 22.3% to 2.49Bf3/d, the statement said. Associated gas output grew 7.2% to 3.24Bf3/d.
The northern and marine regions in January also reported record output of 2.44Bf3/d and 1.93Bf3d/d.
