PTTEP Awarded Three Blocks in the Andaman Sea
PTTEP has been awarded three Petroleum Concession Blocks in the Andaman Sea from the 19th Petroleum Concession Bidding Round. PTTEP Offshore Investment Company Limited (PTTEPO) has been awarded operatorship and a 100% stake in Blocks A4/48, A5/48 and A6/48 in the Andaman Sea.
Block A4/48 covers an area of 20,280 square kilometers, Block A5/48 covers an area of 25,270 square kilometers and Block A6/48 covers an area of 23,270 square kilometers. The blocks are located in the deepwater Andaman Sea, in the North Sumatra basin and Mergui basin.
