New Head of AGR Integrity Services Named
AGR Group, the Norway-based oil technology and services group, has appointed Johan Warmedal to the key position of Executive Vice President, AGR Integrity Services.
Mr. Warmedal, who since 2002 has been International Operations Manager (Eastern Hemisphere) with FMC Kongsberg Subsea AS, is to take responsibility for AGR Group's inspection and maintenance operations including the specialized services operated by AGR EmiTeam AS, AGR PipeTech AS, AGR EmiTeam Limited, PipeTech Innovations AS and AGR Technology Design AS.
Aged 50, Mr. Warmedal, has a Master of Science degree in civil engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. He started his career as a logging field engineer with Schlumberger and followed a career in wireline and oilfield services, holding a variety of positions in line management and marketing. Married, with two children, Mr. Warmedal has worked in a number of countries including Germany, Italy and Greece.

AGR Integrity Services is one of AGR's four business areas. Its specialist companies perform a vital role, providing energy industry operators with expertise in planned inspection, cleaning and maintenance of installations. Its pipeline inspection techniques in particular are among the most advanced in the industry, using state-of-the-art ultrasound technology combined with sophisticated data transmission and storage facilities.
