Stallion Expands Oilfield Trucking Division

Stallion Oilfield Services Ltd. said that it has completed the acquisition of Norton Transport, Inc. located in Palestine, Texas. Norton specializes in heavy hauling for the oilfield industry and expands the capabilities of Stallion's rig logistics division into the Barnett Shale area of the Ft. Worth Basin and strengthens its existing services in the East Texas area.

"Norton adds almost 100 employees and over 50 trucks to our existing fleet,'' said Craig Johnson, Stallion's Chief Executive Officer. "Chris Ingram will remain as operations manager of the company, which will operate as Stallion Heavy Haulers.''

Stallion provides wellsite support services and construction and logistic services to the oilfield with over 1,500 employees in 32 locations.
