Wood Group ESP Names Ferrier to Head Surface Pumping Systems
Wood Group ESP (WGESP), part of John Wood Group PLC (Wood Group), has appointed Neil Ferrier to the position of general manager Surface Pumping Systems (SPS). Neil has been involved with the SPS™ group at Wood Group since 1999 and was formerly worldwide engineering and marketing manager, SPS.
Neil will be responsible for managing the engineering, marketing, sales, service and finance functions of WGESP's SPS group. He will also be involved in the coordination of product manufacturing in Oklahoma City. Neil has significant pumping system experience and has been in the pump business for almost 30 years.
"Neil has been instrumental in establishing our SPS group and product line," said Bud Missel, global marketing manager for WGESP. "His experience, knowledge and enthusiasm for this business will serve him well in his new position."
