Pemex to Launch Poza Rica-Altamira Support Tender
Mexican state oil company Pemex's E&P unit Pemex Exploracion y Produccion (PEP) plans to launch an international tender November 23 to support project planning, development and execution in the Poza Rica-Altamira oil and gas basin.
Specifically, PEP will hire specialized engineering technical support to help identify development areas and determine optimum production design to maximize the deposits' economic value, according to draft bidding rules.
The contract will run 668 days and the work will take place in the states of Puebla, Veracruz and Tamaulipas.
Offers are due January 8 and work is scheduled to begin in March.
