Protesters Reach Deal with Pluspetrol

Peru's government has reached a deal with a group of citizens from the indigenous communities of the Río Corrientes basin in Peru's Loreto department to end protests against Argentine oil company Pluspetrol's installments on blocks 1AB and 8, media reported.
Protests started October 10 against alleged environmental violations with demonstrators blocking access to oil wells.
