Longbow Energy Makes Oil Find at Garrington Well

LongBow Energy

LongBow Energy has completed a Lower Mannville light oil well in the Garrington area. The well was flowing at a tubing pressure of 420 pounds per square inch and a stabilized rate of 85 barrels of light (45 degree API) oil per day and 650,000 cubic feet of sweet gas per day during the last six hours of the 24-hour test period.

The well has an additional three sand intervals that will be completed over the next several months once the well has produced a minimum of three months. The additional intervals, if productive, will be commingled with the current production. Construction of a pipeline into existing infrastructure will begin as soon as possible. A tie-in location exists within 1,000 meters of the well and it may be producing prior to calendar year end. LongBow has a 5% BPO working interest in the well. Garrington continues to be one of LongBow's key areas of focus with 2 other producing wells in the area with working interests ranging from 10 - 20% BPO. The company intends to continue development in this area with our partners.

The company also is undergoing preparations to tie-in 2 Mannville depth gas wells in the Leduc area. These wells were drilled in late 2005 and completed and evaluated in 2006. LongBow holds a 12% working interest in these wells. These wells should add an addition 15 BOE/d to LongBow's production volumes.
