ICP Launches Ops, Eyes Energy Markets
Geneva-based bank International Capital Partners (ICP) has launched operations in Santiago through a representative office and aims to launch similar ventures in Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo by the third quarter next year, an ICP executive told BNamericas.
The bank wants to attract capital for Latin American companies, mainly in the oil and energy sectors.
In addition, the corporate finance boutique bank is seeking to service institutional and private investors in Latin America, offering specialized service to local capital seeking exposure to small to midsize high-growth opportunities in Europe and the US, ICP managing partner for Latin America Claudio Gonzalez said.
ICP will hold a road show for local investors in the first week of November seeking funds for Italian fuels company Enfuel, Gonzalez said.
ICP mostly focuses on arranging development equity finance for high-growth SMEs in the US$15mn-100mn range throughout Europe and North America.
