Pemex Launches Campeche Platform Works, Upgrade Tender
Mexican state oil company Pemex's E&P unit Pemex Exploracion y Produccion launched Tuesday an international tender to carry out complementary works and upgrade offshore platforms in the Sonda offshore field in Campeche state.
Pemex has budgeted 252mn pesos (US$23mn) for the works, which are slated to begin in January and take a year to complete, according to bidding documents.
The works aim to expand operations by increasing the platforms' efficiency and safety.
Offers are due October 23 and Pemex expects to award the contract in December.
