The Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI), first introduced in 1999, is one of the most widely recognized international benchmarks for assessing a company's sustainable development performance.
The DJSI compares a company's performance to those of its peers, in order to identify best practices across the economic, social and environmental dimensions of corporate sustainable development.
Technip has been selected by DJSI for 2006/2007 as member of the following indices:
--The DJSI World Index which includes 318 global companies covering 58 sectors of activity. Technip has been selected as a member for the fourth consecutive year and is the only European oil equipment and services company included in the index.
--The European DJSI Stoxx Index, of which Technip has been a component since 2003 and remains the only oil equipment and services company.
Technip endeavors to ensure that the Group's growth serves to strengthen its policies in all of the dimensions of sustainable development. It is therefore pleased to see its commitments recognized with this new selection.
