Duffy and McGovern Appoints Operations Manager in Singapore
Duffy and McGovern Accommodation Services has appointed a new operations and technical support leader for its base in Singapore.
Darren Bohn, who has extensive knowledge of the offshore modular accommodation market, will provide round-the-clock support to DMAS' expanding customer base in the region.
Mr. Bohn, who is local to Singapore, will work with DMAS' rapidly growing fleet of engineering and sleeper cabins, on rental to numerous clients throughout South East Asia. Reporting to regional vice president Mike Godwin, Mr. Bohn will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and certification of the company's fleet of 40 cabins in South East Asia.
He said: "I am very familiar with Duffy & McGovern's cabins and am impressed with the high quality of the units and the rapid expansion of the company throughout the region.
"DMAS has set new standards and specifications which I believe are being adopted by many oil and gas operators, marine companies and service providers throughout the region. I am looking forward to being part of this rapid expansion and working closely with both existing and new clients."
A former communications specialist with the Singapore Armed Forces, where he attained the rank of third Sergeant, Mr. Bohn has over six year's experience in the offshore industry and considerable experience of DMAS' cabins and operations as former managing director of Carion Services, which provides air conditioning services on and offshore.
