Powder River Continues 100% Success Rate
Powder River Basin Gas has completed the Taylor #1 well on the Weesatche Project in Goliad County, Texas. The well is flowing at 480 mcf gas per day on a 10/64th choke at 860 psi.
The well encountered 17 pay zones deposited in seismic anomalies visible on Powder River Basin Gas Corp.'s 3-D seismic survey. This survey is a major contributing factor to the Companies 100% success rate on this project.
The Taylor #1 is the eighth well completed of the 14 well drilling program scheduled to be completed by the end of 2006. The remaining wells slated for completion are the Justen #5, #6, and #7, the Taylor #2 and #3, and the J.P. Green #3. These are currently being permitted and drilling is expected to commence by the end of the month.
"We are pleased at the success that the Weesatche project is making, and I am thrilled that this project is now more than half completed. Powder River Basin Gas Corp. plans to complete all six of the remaining wells in one phase, which is on schedule to be in full production by the year end," stated Powder River Basin Gas Corp. CEO Brian Fox.
